Chemo and your Brain

Dana Farber describe ‘Chemo Brain’ as

“mental clouding or fogginess – during and after chemotherapy treatment. The condition, which can also be worsened by surgery and radiation, can include symptoms like weakened short-term memory, problems finding words, short attention span, and difficulty concentrating and multitasking.”

They also recommend brain training, among other things, for the effects of ‘Chemo Brain’ – from websites such as Brain HQ and Lumosity.com in this article.

Lumosity offers free games, and after having a go I can recommend it as a well designed series of exercises to help you engage, concentrate and boost your memory.
